Direct Care Staff (Waiver)
At Focus, Inc. we strive to improve the lives of those we serve. We work one on one and in small group settings with individuals that have intellectual disabilities. Our goal is to help them live as independently as possible. We work in their home and in the community. We want to include them in our communities and encourage them to pursue their goals.

We need reliable, honest and caring people to step up and make the difference in our individuals' lives.
Job duties would include (but are not limited to): Teaching daily living skills, such as personal hygiene, learning boundaries, cleaning and cooking, budgeting and ways to become more independent.Transporting our individuals to community events, stores and desired activities (sometimes in bordering towns)Daily documentation (use of a smart phone is required for our apps)Being able to complete tasks that are assigned to you by your supervisorFollow policy and procedure at all times to ensure the health and safety of our individuals
We offer mileage reimbursement for travel that is relevant to the individual's plan of care (goals and objectives). Click here for requirements

Adult Development Day Program (ADDT)
Center hours are from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and run bus routes before and after center hours. Duties include working with individuals up to a 10:1 ratio, assisting them to complete daily goals, teaching new skills and assuring health and safety. Our program participants regularly participate in Special Olympics (basketball, bowling, track and field, etc.)

Autism Waiver Lead Therapist
The lead therapist will work under the supervision of the Interventionist and will be responsible for ensuring the beneficiaries Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) is implemented as designed. They will monitor the effectiveness of the plan by reviewing data recorded by the Line Therapist. They will also be responsible for creating materials related to goals that relate to the ITP. Lead Therapist are also responsible for recording accurate notes that reflect the services they provide.

Autism Waiver Line Therapist
The line therapist will work under the supervision of the Interventionist and the Lead Therapist and will be responsible for providing one-on-one implementation of the beneficiaries Individual Treatment Plan (ITP). They will record and track data ensure that progress is reported to the Interventionist and the Lead Therapist. Line Therapist are also responsible for recording accurate notes that reflect the services they provide.
